i was thinking along those lines myself. we could paint a camel with CPT Roy Browns (the guy credited for shooting down the red baron) paint scheme and we could paint the tri-plane like Baron Von Richtoffen LOL that would be fun.
BTW I only have to install the engine, Cowl and wire in the emergency kill switch on the Nieuport.

I know you did. But if i had been at the helm who knows what kind of Damage would have been done to it. at least now I know A few things. 1: its balanced 2: the control surfaces are all affective 3: engine is TOOO small and 4: it can take a Crash. So all in all it was a good test. and i am please don't worry J.C. I will fix it and make it better thanks for flying it for me.

Yeah Steve it really looks good man. I think once we get the motor issue fixed it will be a great flying airplane. Looking forward to another test flight hopefully this weekend. Weather permitting. Anyways we are headed to the indoor flyin in Westfield this Sat evening. To get some practice in for the E-Fest in a couple of months. Practice makes permenent. Let me know if you decide to take her out this weekend. This time we need to get it on video. Oh by the way I need to get someone who can follow me around and video every flight I do. Just so we can promote my name.

The Engine Issue is moot now I put the engine fromn the beast on it. (that tangle with the tree did more damage than we originally thought) I found out that engine is a 31CC engine originally bundled with the 12 ft Telemaster and the carb. had some issues which have been resolved. I really don't think it will ever go past half throttle on the Nieuport. Talk about POWER!!!. anyway i am really looking forward to putting the Bebe' in the air.

WOW! I can't beleive its been over a year already. So much has happened in my life since my last post it is almost scary. Anyway I just replaced that beast engine in the nieuport with a homelite weedeater engine and it seems to run great. I have the same engine in a 1/4 scale sopwith pup that i ahve since built and it has plenty of power. I have also built the 1/6th scale sopwith pup and done the maiden flight for it. first flight was a bit squirrly but i got it back on the ground in one piece. today i am going to finish buttoning up the N-11 and replace the home made wheels on the little pup. Those i will use on the Taube i am going to build. i think they will work better for that airplane. anyway ..later
